BA(Honours) Illustration at UCLAN in Preston covers an incredibly broad spectrum of visual communication, from contemporary drawing, painting and print to digital image-making.
We aim to provide our students with the ingredients for a creative career as freelance illustrators. Creative thinking and an experimental attitude are at the heart of the course philosophy.
UCLAN graduates from BA(Honours) Illustration have gone on to be editorial illustrators for national and international newspapers and magazines, they are children’s book illustrators, graphic designers and artists.
